Convert Excel to CSV
Save any sheet of an .xlsx workbook as a clean CSV file, ready to import into a database, CRM or another app.
How it works
Pick the sheet if your workbook has several. Dates come out as YYYY-MM-DD, formulas come out as their calculated values, and you can tick “Excel-friendly CSV” if the file will be opened in Excel again and has accented characters.

My workbook has several sheets. Which one is converted?
The first visible sheet, to start with. A Sheet picker appears next to the file name so you can switch to any other sheet before downloading.
What happens to formulas?
Each formula cell is saved as the value Excel last calculated, which is what other apps expect in a CSV.
Can I convert old .xls files?
Not directly. Open the .xls in Excel or Google Sheets and save it as .xlsx or .csv first.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The conversion happens in your own browser. There is no server receiving your data, no account and no daily limit.
