Split a file
Break a large file into chunks that upload or open more easily, or split it into one file per region, customer or category. Every piece keeps the header row.
How it works
Choose a file, then split by row count (for example 10,000 rows per file) or by column value (one file per distinct value in a column, such as State or Account Manager). All pieces download together as a single zip.
Questions
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Your file is read by your own browser and processed on your device. There is no server receiving your data, no account, and nothing is stored after you close the tab.
Why split a CSV file?
Many systems limit import size (for example CRMs, email tools or ad platforms). Splitting also makes huge files open faster in Excel, which stops at 1,048,576 rows.
Does each file keep the header?
Yes. Every output file starts with the same header row as the original.
How are files named when splitting by column?
Each file is named after its value, for example orders - Texas.csv. Blank values go into a file named (blank).
