Remove duplicate rows

Find duplicates across all columns or just the ones that matter (like email or customer ID). Keep the first or last copy, and download the duplicates separately if you want to review them.

How it works

Add a file and choose which columns define a duplicate. Two rows are duplicates when every chosen column matches. You can ignore differences in letter case and surrounding spaces, so "Jane@Example.com " and "jane@example.com" count as the same.

The result shows how many duplicates were found, highlights the key columns in the preview, and lets you download the de-duplicated file and the removed rows.

Questions

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Your file is read by your own browser and processed on your device. There is no server receiving your data, no account, and nothing is stored after you close the tab.

How do I remove duplicates based on one column?

Untick every column except the one you care about (for example Email). Rows with the same email are then treated as duplicates even if other columns differ.

Which copy is kept?

By default the first occurrence is kept and later copies are removed. Choose "Keep last" if newer rows appear lower in your file and you want the most recent version.

Does it change the order of my rows?

No. The rows that remain stay in their original order.

Can I see what was removed?

Yes. After de-duplicating you can download the removed rows as their own file to double-check them.
