How it works
Pick a kind of data and how many rows, then click Make the data. Download it as CSV, Excel, JSON, SQL inserts, Parquet, XML or YAML, or send it straight to another tool with Keep going.
Type a seed to get exactly the same data every time, for repeatable tests. Tick Add realistic mess for stray spaces, mixed date formats, blanks and duplicates to practise cleaning.
Questions
Is any of it real?
No. Names are combined at random, emails use example.com, example.org and example.net, and phone numbers use 555-01xx. Those are reserved for examples and never belong to a real person.
Can I get the same data again?
Yes. Enter the same seed, kind and row count and you get identical data.
Is there a row limit?
Up to 100,000 rows per run, made in a second or two in your browser.
